William and Sandy Whittle of Williston, S.C., announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Lois of Lexington, S.C., to Justin Prewitt Waring. Mr. Waring is the son of Tom and Edie Waring of West Columbia, S.C.

Miss Whittle is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Minick Quincy Whittle and the late John Sanderlin, all of Williston, and Rosa Jean Sanderlin of North Augusta, S.C.

Mr. Waring is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James L. Waring of Vicksburg and Betty Hutto and the late Charles A. Hutto of Cayce, S.C.

The bride-elect received a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of South Carolina. She is a pediatric nurse.

The prospective groom received a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering and is pursuing a master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of South Carolina. He is a civil engineer.

The wedding will be at 3 p.m. Nov. 14, 2009, at Holland Avenue Baptist Church in Cayce.
