St. Aloysius Golf Scramble
The St. Aloysius “A” Club Annual Golf Scramble is scheduled for Sept. 30 at Clear Creek Golf Course. There is a 1 p.m. shotgun start, and prizes will be awarded for longest drive and closest to the pin.

Clear Creek Ladies weekly golf report
On Sept. 30 the Ladies of Clear Creek will hold their monthly business meeting at 8 a.m. The meeting will be followed by a round of stroke play golf. On Oct. 2 and 3, the Ladies will play their club championship. Check-in is at 8:30 a.m., with tee time at 9.
On Oct. 7 the Ladies will host their monthly retiree’s scramble. Check-in for the Halloween-themed scramble is 8:30 a.m., with tee time at 9.
Sign-up sheets for the tournaments are available in the Clear Creek clubhouse, or call 601-638-9395 to register.
Over the River Run registration ongoing
Registration for the Over the River Run, a 5-mile run and racewalk across the Old Mississippi River Bridge, is ongoing. The race is scheduled for Oct. 10 at 8 a.m. Registration fee is $25 for adults and $15 for children 10 and under if postmarked before Oct. 1, or $30 for adults and $20 for children after Oct. 1. There is also a $55 family rate that is good for up to five people living at the same address, or a $75 corporate team rate.
Entry forms are available at Just Duett Sports, and fees can also be paid there. Registration forms and fees can also be mailed to the Southern Cultural Heritage Foundation, 1302 Adams Street, Vicksburg, MS 39180. Checks should be made payable to SCHF. Builders Association golf tournament
The Warren County Builders Association will hold its annual golf tournament on Oct. 15 at Clear Creek Golf Course. Lunch will be served at noon, and the tournament will start at 1 p.m. The entry fee is $75 per person and hole sponsorships are available for $100.
