Thousands of dollars in audio equipment was seized this morning from a home believed to be occupied by the director of the City of Vicksburg’s TV23.

Warren County tax rolls show Thomas “Barry” Graham lives at 307 Goodrum Road, where Vicksburg police assisted investigators from the State Auditor’s Office in the seizure.

“This city employee allegedly used city funds to purchase equipment for his personal use in a band,” said Police Chief Walter Armstrong. “There has been no arrest made at this time, but we do anticipate one — and perhaps several — to be made. This investigation is ongoing.”

Graham is a member of the long-time popular Vicksburg band, The Chill, which has played with various members for more than 25 years.

Among the items that could be seen being taken from the house on the road off Fisher Ferry Road were speakers, amplifiers, cable equipment, microphones and CDs.

Armstrong would not give the name of the city employee until an arrest is made. However, he confirmed the employee works in the TV23 department.
