Stolen car found near Alcorn, MLK

A white 2005 Lincoln Town Car was recovered Sunday after being reported stolen earlier that morning, Vicksburg police Lt. Bobby Stewart said.
The vehicle valued at $15,000 was found abandoned and without damage near Alcorn and Martin Luther King drives at 7:09 a.m. after having been reported stolen from a home in the 2900 block of East Main Street at 1:35 a.m.
Stewart said no suspects have been identified.
CD/radio, gun, laptop reported missing
A CD/radio, a handgun and a wallet were reported missing in Vicksburg during the weekend, police Lt. Bobby Stewart said.
A Pioneer CD/radio valued at $300 was reported stolen from a 1998 Ford Mustang in the 1100 block of Jefferson Street at 9:41 a.m. Saturday.
A High Point 9mm handgun valued at $150 and a Hewlett Packard laptop valued at $800 were reported stolen from a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado in the 4100 block of Interstate 20 Frontage Road at 4:12 p.m. Saturday.
A brown wallet valued at $30 with contents and $35 were reported stolen from a 2007 Chevrolet pickup in the 3500 block of Pemberton Square Boulevard at 7:20 p.m. Saturday.
About $18 cash was reported stolen from a cash register and $40 in quarters were reported stolen from a pool table at the Old School Club, 2820 Washington St., at 1:32 this morning.
Two people injured in Sunday wreck
Two Vicksburg people were injured in a one-car accident at Mississippi 27 and Gibson Road at 8:20 p.m. Sunday.
Monique Sanders, 34, 780 U.S. 61 North, and Kelly Marshall, 32, 1627 Sky Farm Ave., were treated and released from River Region Medical Center, hospital spokesman Allan Karel said.
No information about the wreck was available.
