R&C Associates Inc. was granted a variance by the Vicksburg Board of Zoning Appeals Tuesday to allow for a gravel parking lot at 5800 U.S. 61 South, which is zoned L-1 light industrial.

The variance is good for 12 months, at which time R&C Associates will be required to submit a site plan for a paved parking lot.
