Marquita Clark sits near her painted garden in her backyard at the Audubon Place Apartments on Georgann Drive. Clark painted her privacy fence and added five bird houses, which she also painted, and added a water garden made from a plastic baby pool. Clark, who moved from Florida a year and a half ago, said she painted the garden instead of planting real flowers because if she moves there will be nothing to haul with her.
