Repairs starting Monday will close the road through the Vicksburg National Cemetery to traffic until December.
Financed by federal stimulus dollars, the work involves resurfacing the winding road and replacing 170 feet of concrete gutters to improve drainage in the cemetery.
Pedestrian traffic might also be restricted at different times during the project, said Rick Martin, Vicksburg National Cemetery chief of operations.
