About a year or so ago, an article in the Post stated that retiring radio announcer Ron Anderson was “a Vicksburg institution.” I told him what the Post meant was that he belonged in an institution. Upon his retiring I second that, except it should be the Smithsonian Institution — for he is a Vicksburg and American treasure.
