Michael (Mike) Toole died Thursday, Oct. 22, 2009, at River Region Medical Center. He was 56.

Born in Stamford, Conn., Mr. Toole had been a resident of Vicksburg since February 2009. He was a former resident of Daytona Beach, Fla., and, at the time of his death, was an RP supervisor for the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Toole.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia E. Toole of Vicksburg; daughter, Lisa M. Paraman and her husband, Vinay, of Portland, Ore.; four sons, Danny Alsop and his wife, Konny, of Houston, Texas, Robert Toole of Portland, Ore., and David Loosemore and Richard Loosemore, both of Weirton, W.Va; eight grandchildren, Danielle, Dominic, Vanessa, Ava, Vincent, Paden, Thad and George; and his mother, Sophie P. Toole of Florence, Ala.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Riles Funeral Home Chapel with Lt. Herb Frazier and Lt. JoAnn Frazier, Corps officers of the Vicksburg Salvation Army, officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the hour of the service.
