Mr. Aziz, Miss Bryant are wed in Starkville

Wali Akram Aziz and Gabrielle La’Dale Bryant were married in the presence of close friends and family at 1 p.m. Aug. 8, 2009, at the Chapel of Memories in Starkville. The Rev. John Bohn officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mary Bryant-Plump of Vicksburg. She is the granddaughter of the late Jim Richardson and Fannie Richardson, both of Vicksburg.
The groom is the son of Imam Wali Sr. and Carolyn Aziz of Vicksburg. He is the grandson of the late Percy Bounds and Nolreen Bounds, both of Forest, and Emanuel Whitley and Ellen Bright, both of Vicksburg.
The bride was given in marriage by Archie Plump of Vicksburg. Her chosen colors were apple red and chocolate.
Matron of honor was Crystal Powers Chambliss of Chula Vista, Calif. Maid of honor was Jennifer Fields of Vicksburg. Bridesmaids were Hendrice Garner of Monroe, La., and Maryam Husband of Brandon.
Flower girl was Nia Gilmore, niece of the groom.
Nicholas Head of Okolona served as best man. Groomsmen were Scott MacArther of Biloxi, Greg Eakins of Fayette and Robert Jones of Vicksburg.
Hostesses were Meghan Owen, Stacy Smith, LaToya Bledsoe and Tunisa Rice, all of Starkville, and Danielle Spencer of West Point.
The couple plans to make their home in Destin, Fla. The bride is a dietetic intern at Mississippi State University, and the groom is employed with Jacobs Engineering.
