Elsa Eve Holt of Edwards and Danny Ray Doty Jr. of Canton will be married at 5 p.m. Nov. 7, 2009, at Cannon Farms in Raymond. A reception will follow.

Miss Holt is the daughter of James and Karen Holt of Edwards. She is the granddaughter of the late Charlene Holt, J.C. Holt of West, Miss., and the late Ruth Hardeman and the late James Hardeman of Houma, La.

Mr. Doty is the son of Danny and Ruby Doty of Ridgeland and John and Carolyn Harrison of Vicksburg. He is the grandson of the late Stella and Allen Banchetti and the late Tommy Doty, all of Vicksburg.

The bride-elect attended Hinds Community College and Holmes Community College.

The prospective groom graduated from St. Aloysius High School in 1999 and attended Hinds Community College. He is employed with Southeastern Pond Management.
