More I-20 work expected Tuesday

Eastbound traffic on Interstate 20 in Louisiana near the Delta exit will be reduced to one lane Tuesday because of maintenance work at the weigh-in-motion scales.
The work is expected to take a day, said Jennifer Soelter of the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development’s District 5 office in Monroe.
A separate construction project to stabilize the Interstate 20 bridge across the Mississippi River is set to continue until March, LDOT officials have said. Lane restrictions associated with the effort have reduced westbound traffic flow from Vicksburg since early summer.
