It’s Turkey Dinner time at Crawford Street United Methodist Church, and for the first time in the long history of the dinner, a man will serve as chairman. He is Mark Posey, who invites the public to mark the calendar for Nov. 12.

The annual Crawford Street United Methodist Church Turkey dinner will be Nov. 12 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. in Wesley Hall on Crawford Street. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased by calling 601-636-5612 or contacting a church member.

Dinner will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Wesley Hall. The menu will include turkey and dressing, cranberry sauce, green beans, corn pudding, rolls, and homemade pie for dessert.

A bake sale will be featured also.

Tickets for the dinner are $10 and can be purchased through Nov. 11 by calling the church office, 601-636-5612, or contacting any United Methodist Women member.

Assisting Posey are co-chairmen Jill Pierce, Mia Cowart and Terri Frazier.

The Rev. Cary Stockett and his wife, Mechelle, will assist in hosting the dinner.
