35 civilian workers rewarded

Thirty-five current and former employees of the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center have been awarded the Secretary of Defense Global War on Terrorism Civilian Service Medal for their support of the U.S. military while serving as civilians abroad.

Those awarded the medal were deployed in direct support of military operations in areas designated combat zones for a minimum of 30 consecutive days or for 60 non-consecutive days.
