Addie B. Waters died Friday, Nov. 13, 2009, at River Region Medical Center. She was 90.

Mrs. Waters was a homemaker and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was born in Warren County.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mannie Waters; sons, Robert Waters and Jerry Waters; parents, Peter and Addie B. Jones; 10 brothers; and three sisters.

Survivors include seven sons, Michael Waters, Ronald Waters, Larry Waters of Vicksburg, Darryl Waters of Lafayette, La., and Mannie Waters, Joseph Waters and Ray Waters, all of Los Angeles; two daughters, Joyce Winston of Marshallville, Ga., and Edna Washington of Calipatricia, Calif.; and a stepdaughter, Bertha Mae Smalls of Edwards; as well as 20 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
