Burglaries, vandalism to cars parked at Cooper

The windows of four vehicles at Cooper Lighting, 5035 U.S. 61 South, were reported broken and some items missing Saturday afternoon, said police officer Milton Moore.
Two CDs were missing from a 2007 Chevrolet HHR, but owners of a 2005 Kia Sorento, 2004 Ford Expedition and 2005 Mazda Tribune reported broken windows only. The vehicles belonged to Cooper employees.
Across U.S. 61 South, two auto burglaries were reported Friday afternoon.
In the 200 block of Kendra Drive, a .380 handgun was missing from a 2006 Ford F-150. Less than a mile away, in the 100 block of Belva Drive, a Taurus .357 Magnum handgun was missing from a 2007 Dodge 3500.
It was unclear if any of the reports were related.
