Belynda Lane Mitchell died Monday, Nov. 23, 2009, at Vicksburg Promise Specialty Hospital. She was 39.

Born in Yazoo City, she had been a resident of Vicksburg most of her life. She was a graduate of Porters Chapel Academy and attended Freed-Hardeman University. She was a member of the Vicksburg Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her father, John “Jack” Lane.

She is survived by her mother, Edith Lane Sims of Vicksburg; two sons, Brady Bohannon and Benjamin Bohannon, both of Shelbyville, Ky.; a sister, Beth Meredith of Bowling Green, Ky.; and two brothers, Bobby Lane of Clinton and Bryan Lane of Senatobia.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Riles Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Friday until the service.
