STARKVILLE – The Golden Egg Trophy has returned home to Starkville after Mississippi State’s 41-27 victory over in-state rival Ole Miss on Saturday, and Mississippi State fans will have a few opportunities to have their picture taken with the trophy this week around campus, the athletic department announced Monday.

The 82-year old Golden Egg will be on display in the Colvard Student Union from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 1. It will also be at the Mississippi State – Southern Miss women’s basketball game on Wednesday evening at 7 p.m.

On Saturday, Bulldog Club members can have their picture taken with the trophy from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Bryan Athletic Administration Building, preceding the men’s basketball team’s 1 p.m. contest against St. Bonaventure. A photographer will be on-hand to take pictures Saturday, but fans may also bring their own camera.
