GRENADA — George W. Bingham Sr., formerly of Vicksburg, died Thursday, Nov. 26, 2009, at Grenada Living Center. He was 82.

Mr. Bingham was a former school teacher and carpenter. He was a veteran of the Army.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret White Bingham of Grenada; two sons, George Bingham Jr. of Grenada and Arrington Bingham of Frederick, Md.; and three daughters, Carol Veal of Grenada, Bettina Bingham of Marlboro, Md., and Meta B. Liddell of Smyrna, Ind.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First New Hope M.B. Church in Grenada with Elder Alex Turner officiating. Burial will be at Zollinger Cemetery in Vicksburg under the direction of Clark-Williams Funeral Home of Grenada.
