Jakie Burnham died Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009, at River Region Medical Center. He was 69.

Mr. Burnham was of the Baptist faith. He was employed at Vicksburg Country Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Matoline Gross Burnham and Jake Burnham; and a sister, Maxine Burnham Carr.

Survivors include two sons; a brother, Riley Burnham of Chicago; two sisters, Peggy Lane and Oacie Mae Burnham Ross, both of Chicago; an aunt; and nieces, nephews and other relatives, including members of the Gross, Howard, Holt, Elmore and Sanders families of Vicksburg.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Williams Funeral Service. Visitation will be from noon Friday until the service.
