PORT GIBSON — Annie K. Bell died Thursday, Nov. 26, 2009, at River Region Medical Center. She was 84.

Mrs. Bell was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Jim Bell; her parents, William and Sarah Kelly; six brothers, Neal Kelly, George Kelly, Morris Kelly, Charlie Kelly, William Kelly Jr. and Robert Kelly Sr.; four sisters, Carrie Kelly, Harriet Simmons, Mary Wright and Susie Mays; and two stepbrothers, Nathaniel Bell and Walter Bell.

She is survived by four sons, Coles Bell and Adam Bell, both of Port Gibson, James Bell of Vicksburg and Eugene Bell Jr. of Fort Washington, Md.; three daughters, Harriette Howard and Lena Bell, both of Port Gibson, and Sophie Wren of Pattison; 18 grandchildren; 11 stepgrandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 15 stepgreat-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Old Come and See Baptist Church in Port Gibson with the Rev. Erwin Cosey Sr. officiating. Burial will be at Ashland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 6 today at Thompson Funeral Home in Port Gibson and Saturday at the church from 1 p.m. until the service.
