Mr. Waring, Miss Whittle are wed

Justin Prewitt Waring and Jennifer Lois Whittle were married at 3 p.m. Nov. 14, 2009, at Holland Avenue Baptist Church in Cayce, S.C. The Rev. Charles M. Wilson officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of William and Sandy Whittle of Williston, S.C. She is the granddaughter of Rosa Jean Sanderlin of N. Augusta, S.C., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Minick Quincy Whittle, all of Williston.

The groom is the son of Tom and Edie Waring of West Columbia, S.C. He is the grandson of Ida and Jimmy Waring of Vicksburg and Betty Hutto and the late Charles Hutto of Cayce.

Matron of honor was Patricia Bates, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Brandy Sanderlin, cousin of the bride, and Jennifer Croft, April Miller, Deanna Rish and Lesli Shelton.

The groom’s father served as best man. Groomsmen were Brandon Waring and Ryan Waring, brothers of the groom, and Patrick Baughman, Eric Carroll and Tyler Goff.

Flower girl was Gracie Bates, niece of the bride. Ring bearer was Cooper Langford, cousin of the groom.

A reception followed at Ariel’s Special Events in West Columbia.

For a wedding trip, the couple traveled to the Florida Gulf Coast. They will make their home in Lexington, S.C.

The bride received a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of South Carolina. She is a pediatric nurse at Sandhills Pediatrics in Columbia.

The groom received a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of South Carolina, where he is pursuing a master’s degree. He is a civil engineer with BP Barber & Associates.
