Entergy’s Tim Wright moves power lines from the scene of a wreck on Iowa Boulevard Monday night so a car that had been driven by Eliza Parson, 48, 609 Locust St., could be moved. Parson said he lost control of his Pontiac at about 5:30 p.m. as he drove south on Iowa. The car left the road, hit a utility pole and flipped. The accident darkened area street lights and cut power to two nearby residences. He was not injured. (Katie Carter*The Vicksburg Post)
