CHICAGO — Herman Charles Coleman died Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009, in Chicago. He was 76.

Mr. Coleman was reared in Vicksburg. He graduated in 1953 from Bowman High School and attended Campbell College in Jackson. He was a member of the Vicksburg Benevolent Society.

He was preceded in death by his aunts, Alice Spencer and Susie B. Hall.

He is survived by his wife, Geraldine Coleman.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Doty Nash Funeral Home, 8620 South Stony Island in Chicago.
