County woman held on meth charges

A Vicksburg woman was in the Warren County jail Thursday on charges of cooking methamphetamine in her home.

Pamela C. Isonhood, 43, 153 Deer Ridge Road, was arrested at 10:42 p.m. after Warren County Sheriff’s deputies found an active crystal methamphetamine shake-and-bake canister during a search of Isonhood’s home, Sheriff Martin Pace said.

Pace said his deputies initially visited Isonhood’s home to conduct an interview with her while following up on information of drug activity, but once there, the deputies smelled odor of precursor chemicals.

He said Isonhood gave the deputies permission to search her home.

During the search, deputies found an active cooking canister, precursor chemicals necessary to cook methamphetamine and a finished product that appeared to just have been cooked, Pace said.

Isonhood was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of precursor chemicals and possession of methamphetamine.

She was held without bond.

Separately, a Vicksburg man was in the Warren County jail Thursday on drug-related charges.

Tonny Lejeremy Wash, 24, 1773 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., was arrested at 6:30 p.m. Thursday during a traffic stop at Halls Ferry and Porters Chapel roads, Lt. Bobby Stewart said.

Stewart said after an identity check, Wash was found to have a warrant for his arrest for sale of cocaine.

The warrant was issued Wednesday after an undercover investigation into his activities, Stewart said.

Wash was held without bond, and also held for the Mississippi Department of Corrections for a probation violation.

Three cars stolen overnight in city

Three overnight auto thefts were reported in the city this morning, one from a car dealership and one from a home.

A 1993 black Chevrolet Camaro valued at $4,500 was reported missing at 12:32 a.m. from the lot of OK Cars, 2970 U.S. 61 North.

A 2001 white Nissan Altima with a pink Ole Miss tag on the front and pink ducks on the side windows was reported stolen from outside a home in the 1500 block of Porters Chapel Road.

A 1978 Chevrolet El Camino was reported stolen from the 1300 block of Clay Street.

Separately, an auto burglary was reported in the city Thursday.

A Jensen CD player valued at $169 was reported missing at 2:10 p.m. from a 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe in the 1900 block of Baldwin Ferry Road.

TVs, camera, game missing on Sky Farm

Electronics were reported missing from a home in the city Thursday night, Lt. Bobby Stewart said.

A 42-inch Sanyo flat-screen TV valued at $699, a 19-inch Apec TV valued at $299, a Nintendo Wii game system valued at $400 and an HP digital camera valued at $150 were reported missing at 9:30 p.m. from a home in the 1700 block of Sky Farm Avenue.
