Myth won’t let go

I can’t believe the tenacity with which The Associated Press clings to the bankrupt concept of global warming.  Bulletin: Global warming is a scam whose time has come and gone! The AP should quit beating a dead horse!

More and more responsible climate scientists have already come over to the conviction that global warming is a myth. There is a petition signed by over 31,000, including over 8,000 with doctoral degrees. There are two factors that have been discovered, by honest science, about Earth’s temperature:

1. Forces affecting the temperature of Earth, such as deep ocean currents, are so large that man-made perturbations are too small to be significant!

2. These forces seem to be roughly cyclical. The temperature of Earth seems to rise for a few years, then fall for a few years. Right now (and since about 1998) they are falling, in spite of the rising CO2 levels in the atmosphere.

I read an Associated Press story by Seth Borenstein, AP science writer, on Dec. 3. In the story, this supposedly professional “science writer” is talking about how we’re going to need “stilts and taller dikes” to contain global warming as sea-level elevation increases. Where has this guy been?

If Seth did a minimum of research, he would find that the British University of East Anglia contains one of the leading climate research centers in the world, and about a week and a half ago a hacker in Russia cut into the e-mail files of the scientists there. It has been determined that these scientists are engaged in a giant fraud! They have entered a conspiracy ignoring or even falsifying temperature measurement data to support the false claims of the UN International Panel on Climate Control. Falsifying data is a mortal sin in science, equivalent to perjury in a court of law! Al Gore can be excused for lying through his teeth because he’s a politician, and we all know about politicians!

The worst part of this crime against humanity is that unscrupulous politicians, and their dupes (put Obama into either class you wish) are in Copenhagen prepared to use the cap and trade concept to destroy our national economy, and/or attempt to sacrifice our national sovereignty on the altar of saving the world from a condition that does not even exist!

I think that Seth Borenstein, AP “science” writer should get himself a more appropriate profession. The world can use more (science) fiction writers, but not in the news department! Furthermore, all AP stories on this topic should be issued in pencil, suitable for easy revision by all right-thinking editors!
