Turcottes celebrate 50

Ernest and Eleanor Turcotte of Clinton celebrated their 50th anniversary with their four children and spouses and nine grandchildren on Nov. 25. They were chauffeured along with their children, Jim Turcotte of Clinton, Lori Young of Tupelo, and Leslie Threadgill and Leah Chisolm, both of Madison, in a limousine to their hometown of Vicksburg where the couple were married Dec. 25, 1959.

The Turcottes toured the city, made pictures and celebrated a renewal of vows ceremony in the ballroom of Cedar Grove Mansion.

They also have nine grandchildren: James, Megan and Austin Turcotte of Clinton; Gray Threadgill of Madison; Madison and McKenzie Young of Tupelo; and Chase, Katelyn and Ashlyn Chisolm of Madison.
