Helen Catherine Neier Bischoff

FORT DODGE, Iowa — Helen Catherine Neier Bischoff, formerly of Vicksburg, died Monday, Dec. 7, 2009. She was 87.

Mrs. Bischoff was born near Leslie, Mo. She worked at Ralston Purina Co. in St. Louis for a number of years. With her family, she lived in Vicksburg from 1960 until 1970 and was a member of St. Paul and St. Michael Catholic churches before moving to Fort Dodge, Iowa.

Mrs. Bischoff was a homemaker, an election poll worker and a member of Catholic Daughters of the Americas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; and three sisters.

Survivors include her husband, George Bischoff of Fort Dodge; two sons, David Bischoff of Albertville, Ala., and Kurt Bischoff of Fort Dodge; three daughters, Susan Murphy of Nashville, Jane Bischoff of Garfield Heights, Ohio, and Laura Bischoff of Minneapolis; a sister; a brother; and seven grandchildren. 

Services were Saturday in Fort Dodge. Burial followed at Corpus Christi Cemetery.
