PORT GIBSON — Bobby Brown died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009, at Claiborne County Senior Care Home in Port Gibson. He was 57.

Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest and Lutisha Brown.

He is survived by two sons, Bobby Leon Thomas of Port Gibson and Leon Brown Jr. of Los Angeles; two brothers, Earnest Brown of Port Gibson and Ellison Brown of Crystal Springs; six sisters, Dorothy Jones, Pearlia Rankin and Debadee Bozeman, all of Port Gibson, Patricia McConnico and Barbara Brown, both of Dorchester, Mass., and Maryetta McNary of Three Rivers, Mich.; and nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives, including Charles Davis and Shirley Thomas, both of Port Gibson.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ashland M.B. Church in Port Gibson with the Rev. Otis Davis, assisted by the Revs. James Dorsey and Richard Cruel, officiating. Burial will follow at Springhill Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 6 today at Thompson Funeral Home of Port Gibson and Saturday at the church from 10 a.m until the service.
