Mary Nell Tingle passed away Monday, Dec. 21, 2009, peacefully at her home. She was 79.

Mary Nell was the daughter of the late Harry and Lillie Countryman Barnes. She worked as a store owner for a number of years and was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and VFW Women’s Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald E. Tingle; and a brother, Harry D. Barnes Jr.

She is survived by two daughters, Donna Lee Tingle and Jenny T. Parker and husband James, all of Vicksburg; and one grandson, Ferran Parker.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 26, 2009, at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home Chapel with Father P.J. Curley officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon Saturday until the hour of the service.

Pallbearers will be Leon Miller, Lewis Tingle, Jeb Tingle, Fred Tingle, Willie Woodrick and Dennis Townsend.
