Franklin O. Rogers Jr.

LEXINGTON — Franklin O. Rogers Jr. died Saturday, Dec. 26, 2009, at St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital. He was 68.
Mr. Rogers was born in Holmes County to Franklin O. and Kate Abel Rogers. He worked as a shop foreman for Peaster Tractor Co.
He served in the Mississippi National Guard and was a member of First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy W. Rogers of Lexington; a son, Rodney Rogers of Madison; one daughter, Christy Pritchard of Durant; a brother, Paul Rogers of Vicksburg; a sister, Lura Sykes of Fulton; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church with the Revs. Melon Garrett and Wes Bonner officiating. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at Southern Funeral Home in Lexington.
Pallbearers will be Chris Rogers, Scott Rogers, Trent Rogers, Bill Garmon, Terry Wynne, David Wynne, Charn Blain and Dan McQuirter.
Honorary pallbearers will be past and present members of Andrews Sunday school class, employees of Mississippi Ag/Peaster Tractor and deacons of First Baptist Church.
