Elisha Tolliver Jr. died Thursday, Jan. 14, 2010, at his home in Vicksburg. He was 67.

Mr. Tolliver was a self-employed public accountant and longtime resident of Vicksburg. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Bell Tolliver; parents, Elisha and Roxie Tolliver; and sisters, Annie Mae Horton, Evelyn Givens and Mateal Tolliver.

Survivors include his sons, Robert Shelton of Vicksburg, Maj. Jahan Tolliver of Copperas Cove, Texas, and Staff Sgt. Adrian B. Tolliver of Quantico, Va.; daughter, Desina Cruthirds of Jackson; sisters, Roxie Hebron, Cassie Parker, Bessie Smith, Savannah Williams and Alean Luster, all of Vicksburg, and Louise Bunch of Detroit; brothers, Harold Tolliver of Chicago, Emmanuel Tolliver of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Robert Tolliver and David Tolliver, both of Vicksburg; 11 grandchildren; cousins, nephews, nieces and other relatives; and friends.
