MEMPHIS — India Barnett, 89, a longtime faithful member of Independent Presbyterian Church, Memphis, passed away Jan. 19, 2010.

She was retired and formerly employed by American Radiator of Memphis and was a Mary Kay Consultant.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie R. Barnett; a brother, Charles D. Brigham Jr.; and a sister, Kathryn B. West.

India is survived by her sons, J. Lawrence Barnett (Kay) of Vicksburg and W. Thomas Barnett (Jackie) of Charlotte, N.C.; and four grandchildren, Laura, Lauren, Evan and Colin.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 23, at Independent Presbyterian Church. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
