James E. Burrell

ROY, Utah — James E. Burrell died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2010, at his home. He was 49.
Mr. Burrell was a graduate of Port Gibson High School. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force and was self-employed as a computer expert.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cornie Burrell Jr. and Augusta Banks.
Survivors include his sister, Lillie Burrell-Washington of Hermanville; three brothers, Cornie Burrell III of St. Louis and Richard Burrell and Ed Burrell, both of Jackson; and other relatives and friends, including Eddie Lee Williams of Port Gibson and Adrian Burrell of Vicksburg.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Freedman Hall Church in Hermanville with the Rev. Johnny Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery with Thompson Funeral Home in charge. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 p.m. until the service at the church.
