David C. Bosarge

David C. Bosarge died Thursday, Jan. 21, 2010, at his home. He was 59.
A Gulfport native, Mr. Bosarge had lived in Vicksburg for the past 27 years. He retired from MP&L/Entergy at Grand Gulf after 30 years of service. Since retirement, he and his brother, Rod, owned and operated 49 Flea Market in Hattiesburg — the largest indoor flea market in Mississippi.
He was a member of First Baptist Church and was married for 37 years. He was known for helping others by giving of his time and talents.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leslie George Bosarge.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie C. Bosarge of Vicksburg; one daughter, Leslie Sweet and her fiance, Foster Burns, of St. Louis; his mother and stepfather, Lucy Jean and Charles Moulder; a brother, Rod Bosarge and wife Judy of Hattiesburg; a sister, Marlene Boyd and husband Wayne of Hattiesburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Glenwood Funeral Home with Dr. Matt Buckles officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight.
Pallbearers will be Rod Bosarge, Bruce Higgins, Ronnie McGowan, Wayne Boyd, Michael Martin, Kevin Martin and Richard Cook.
Honorary pallbearer will be Scott McClellar.
