Catherine Adams died Monday, Jan. 25, 2010, at River Region Medical Center. She was 59.

Mrs. Adams was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Adams; her parents, George and Fannie Washington; three sisters, Emma Lee Gaskin, Georgia Freeman and Willie B. Lyons; and one brother, Eddie Washington.
