A Vicksburg mother of two who was last reported seen Sunday has been found, and authorities say she is OK but could face criminal charges in Warren County.
Angela Martin King, 35, was found this morning in the downtown Jackson area, Hinds County Sheriff’s Office Investigator Trey Brister said.
“She’s been located and she’s fine,” he said. “She just chose not to go home.”
He declined to comment on exactly where she was found.
He said no criminal charges will be filed in Hinds County; however, Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said this morning a detailed report of her activities will be reviewed by Warren County Youth Court and criminal charges could be brought against her since her two children, a 3-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy, were involved.
King was reported missing after her baby sitter, who was scheduled to take care of the woman’s two children at their Warriors Trail home from 6 until 11 p.m. Saturday, had not heard from her by 3:30 a.m. Sunday, Pace said.
Warren County, Hinds County and Rankin County officials had all assisted in the six-day search that turned up no foul play.
