MAYERSVILLE — Pauline Sias died Monday, Jan. 25, 2010, at Delta Regional Medical Center. She was 85.

Mrs. Sias was retired from Mississippi Friends of Children, where she worked for 30 years.

She is survived by five sons, Melvin Sias and Roy Sias, both of Rolling Fork, Joey Sias of Mayersville, Roosevelt Sias of Piney Woods and Andre Sias of Bentonville, Ark.; five daughters, Jackie Sias of Rolling Fork, Gail Sias of Cleveland, Liz Sias Shannon of Louisville, Ky., Thelma Sias of Milwaukee, Wis., and Cheryl Micou; four brothers, Charles Jackson of Mayersville, Donnie Jackson of Anguilla, Carl Jackson of Los Angeles and Samuel O’Neal of Saginaw, Mich.; 18 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and other relatives.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Sunday at South Delta High School auditorium in Rolling Fork with Larry Williams officiating. Burial will follow at the Sias Family-St. Peter Cemetery under the direction of Walker Funeral Home of Rolling Fork. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Saturday at St. Peter M.B. Church.
