Two additional defendants were arraigned Monday after being indicted last week by the Warren County Grand Jury.
They were:
• Nakeisha Blue, 24, 385 Ford Road — embezzlement, Nov. 4.
• Anthony Hill, 28, 2011 Temple St. — conspiracy to commit a felony and grand larceny, Aug. 12.
The January term of the grand jury was sworn in Jan. 25 by presiding Circuit Court Judge M. James Chaney. The panel of 18 jurors reviewed evidence in 96 cases and issued indictments in 88 cases and no-bills in eight others where the evidence was insufficient to proceed to trial.
Indictments are not made public until the defendants are arraigned or formally advised of the charges against them and given a trial date.
The grand jury meets four times a year in Warren County. The next terms begin May 3, July 26 and Oct. 11.
