Elmer Johnson Jr. died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010, at his home. He was 60.

Mr. Johnson was a forklift operator and a veteran of the U.S. Army in Vietnam.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer Johnson Sr. and Elvia Burnett Johnson;  a brother, Ernest Johnson; and a sister, Annie Marie Green.

Survivors include his wife, Debra G. Johnson of Vicksburg; a daughter, Flora Johnson Baker of Utica; eight grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6 until 7 p.m. at the funeral Home.
