Top-notch care

I recently had to make the most difficult decision of my life. The situation with my elderly mother got to the point where there seemed to be no alternative to putting her into a nursing home. This brought incredible anxiety and concern to me as I obviously wanted to find a place where she would be comfortable, treated with respect and courtesy and, therefore, allowed to maintain her dignity.

Neglect and abuse at nursing homes is well documented, which raises one’s anxieties. Ultimately, I placed my mother at the Vicksburg Convalescent Home on Cherry Street. I am most happy to say that Vicksburg Convalescent Home has proven to be an ideal placement. I have never seen nor heard of a nursing home where every employee from the kitchen staff to the nurses always has a friendly smile and a loving hug for the patients. I have observed her being loved and cared for in a most professional manner and my concerns have all disappeared. I highly recommend the Vicksburg Convalescent Home to anyone who may have need of such services. I offer a heartfelt thanks to Amy Brown and her entire staff.
