No compromise possible

Obama is reaching for the highest level for which man can reach — to change everything, to re-create the world in his own image, “to play God” as described in Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals” on page 61. In Obama’s mind, those who oppose him are just too dense to understand him or too evil to obey him. So they must be co-opted, ignored or coerced into cooperation and compromise. That passes for bipartisanship nowadays.
But Republicans who still have a conscience cannot compromise on Obama’s enlargement of government and the national debt, on his health care proposals or other government intrusions into our free-market economy, on cap and trade and other supposed green schemes, on amnesty for illegal aliens, civil rights for captured terrorists or any other proposal Obama offers to re-create America as he and his buddies think it should be. Strategically, to compromise with the left is to betray American principles.
Further, compromise for Obama is a tactic not to end conflict, but to kick it up a notch. He learned from Alinsky (the radical community organizer) that conflict precedes and follows compromise: “If you start with nothing, demand 100 percent, then compromise for 30 percent, you’re 30 percent ahead. A free and open society is an ongoing conflict, interrupted periodically by compromises — which then become the start for the continuation of conflict.” (Page 59).
Obama will not change. He will not give up on his plans for us and our country. Compromise with Obama will only help him create an unmanageable mess that dwarfs anything he could have inherited from President George W. Bush.
