An American flag hangs from Vicksburg fire trucks Tuesday paying tribute to Hubert W. Hearn as his funeral procession enters Cedar Hill Cemetery. Mr. Hearn was a native and lifelong resident of Vicksburg who was chief of the Vicksburg Fire Department when he retired after 20 years and chief of the Waterways Experiment Station Fire Department when he retired there, also after 20 years.
