Services for George F. Dixon will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lakeview Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Gregory Butler officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 1 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home with the family being present from 5 until 6.

Mr. Dixon died Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010, at his home. He was 87.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a private first class military policeman.
