PORT GIBSON — Elisabeth Miller died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010, at her home in Port Gibson. She was 33.

Miss Miller was a longtime resident of Cary and Vicksburg before moving to Port Gibson. She graduated from Sharkey-Issaquena Academy and attended Belhaven College. She was a member of Chapel of the Cross Episcopal Church.

She is survived by her fiance, Brian Shannon of Port Gibson; her mother and stepfather, Elise and Charles Cook of Cary; her father and stepmother, James and Sharon Miller of Vicksburg; two brothers, Randolph Miller of Alabama and Charles O. Cook Jr. of New Orleans; three sisters, Andrea Pound of Birmingham, Ala., Holly Sloan of Alaska and Bonnie Wells of Florida; her paternal grandmother, Lottie Smith of Jackson; her paternal grandfather, Charles B. Cook of Cleveland; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Chapel of the Cross Episcopal Church. Burial will follow at Greenfield Cemetery in Glen Allan under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home in Rolling Fork. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the service at the church.

Pallbearers will be William Moore, Ricky Lee, Donald Harris, Christopher Alford, Jeremy Alford and John Wayne Warbington.
