City man charged with embezzlement

A Vicksburg man was in the Warren County Jail Friday night, accused of embezzlement.

Lawrence Butler, 42, 420 Lakehill Drive, was arrested by Vicksburg police at 2:37 p.m. Friday at his home, said Lt. Davey Barnette.

A warrant for Butler’s arrest had been issued Tuesday.

He was being held Friday night on $10,000 bond.
