Two local food events that had been set for Friday have been rescheduled due to last week’s snow.

The Vicksburg Kiwanis Chili Feast will be Thursday. For $6, chili and cheese, crackers, salad and dessert and tea for those who eat in will be offered from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. at the Purks YMCA off Clay Street.

The Knights of Columbus’ fish fry is reset for April 9. Dine-in or take-out will be available from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the KC hall off Fisher Ferry Road. A meal is $8 and includes fried or grilled catfish with all the trimmings. The event will benefit Haven House Family Shelter.
