LORMAN — Rosalie Williams Weddington died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010, at River Region Medical Center. She was 82.

Mrs. Weddington was a longtime resident of Lorman. She was a member of Mount Olive M.B. Church, where she served as an usher.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wade Williams and Josie Gibson; and a daughter, Johnnie Chambers.

She is survived by four daughters, Loretta Clark of Lorman, Barbara T. Parker of Baton Rouge, Sandra T. Powell of Pattison and Keisha Weddington of Port Gibson; two sons, William Weddington of Vicksburg and Claude Weddington of Quincy, Ill.; three sisters, Marjorie Brandon and Estella Ward, both of Port Gibson, and Sally Walker of Gloster; three brothers, Percy Williams of Freemont, Calif., Leon Williams of Oakland, Calif., and Glen Williams of York, Va.; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
