Alice Johnson Turner died Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010, at Promise Specialty Hospital. She was 88.

A Warren County native, Mrs. Turner was a homemaker. She was a member of King David M.B. Church No. 2 and Order of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Turner; two sisters, Virginia Glasco and Eliza Warren; her mother, Alberta Johnson; and her father.

Survivors include two daughters, Jackie Smith of Vicksburg and Mae Smith of Jackson; and a stepdaughter, Geraldine Brown of Vicksburg.
