Larry Laroy Bowman died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010, at River Region Medical Center. He was 54.

A Vicksburg native, Mr. Bowman was self-employed. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Connie Bowman; his father, William Cornelius Bowman Sr.; his mother, Cleola Bowman Gant; and his grandparents, Mary Ollie Wallace, Sam Otis Bowman and Melissa Beverly Bowman.

Survivors include four daughters, Taiwana Flowers, Latoya Jackson, Alexis Jackson and Melody Jackson, all of Vicksburg; two brothers, William C. Bowman Jr. of Vicksburg and William P. Bowman of Dallas, Texas; five sisters, Eunice B. Smith, Brenda Bowman, Cheryl Davis, Elise Chambers and Tamara Antwine, all of Vicksburg; and three grandchildren.
